Have you seen the television ad for Lunesta™, some sort of new sleep aid? It really creeps me out. I hadn’t noticed this until the commercial came on while I had the volume down on ye olde tube.
Here’s how it works; you see a woman laying in her bed, agitated, eyes open, obviously distraught that she can’t sleep. Suddenly this uber-eerie, phosporesant-green Luna moth flies in and hovers near her mouth. Suddenly her eyes close and her head falls loosely to the side on her pillow.
Next, the same thing happens to a man. He can’t sleep, he’s irritated as hell, here comes the moth, closed go the eyes, head falls languidly to one side.
So what does this mean? It appears that if you get too agitated before bed a big bug will fly in your window, exhale some toxin or another into your face and you die.
They should do a digital airbrush on the moth and put the head of Bela Lugosi on it, it would make much more sense.
